It’s not too late to reverse biodiversity decline by 2030, UK’s five leading nature bodies say

  • Five UK statutory nature agencies call on all parts of society for greater action and investment in nature now.
  • Report recommends businesses, organisations, cities and governments adopt targets to become Nature Positive – putting the crises of biodiversity loss and climate change on an equal footing.
  • Natural England (NE), Natural Resources Wales (NRW), NatureScot, Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) and the Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) recommend nine priority actions to achieve a Nature Positive UK by 2030.
