Locals invited to an SNH reception in Edinburgh

Local people are being invited along to an informal reception held by Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) at the Edinburgh Training and Conference Venue in St. Mary’s Street from 5.30 to 7pm on Tuesday 22nd September 2015.

Susan Walker, SNH’s deputy chairman, will host the event along with area manager, Iain Rennick.

Susan Walker said: “The event will give people the opportunity to have an informal discussion with senior staff about our work in the area, find out what we do and why, and raise issues about the natural environment which are of interest to them. It’s also a really useful way for us to keep in touch with public perceptions of the organisation. We certainly hope many people will be able to come along and we look forward to meeting them.”

The event is free and light refreshments will be provided. Places are limited so booking is advised. For more information or to book a place, call 0131 316 2600 or email jennifer.porteous@snh.gov.uk
