Free family event at St Cyrus nature reserve

Mark July 19 in the calendar for plenty of free, family fun at St Cyrus national nature reserve’s Discovery Day.

There will be games and activities for all the family, including face painting and much more. Learn about cooking, foraging, and wild food from cook, Mark Williams of Galloway Foods, and bushcrafter expert, Williow Lohr. There will be forages throughout the day – as well as tipples and tasters. You can also learn all about our Whales and Dolphins with Whale & Dolphin Conservation.

The event takes place from 12 noon to 4pm.

Theresa Alampo, St Cyrus reserve manager, said:

“It’ll be a great day for the whole family, with something for everyone – including the local church ladies’ famous cakes! We hope you’ll come along.”
